D and W Associates International (Pvt) Ltd. (DWAI) is the successor to D & W Enterprises. DWAI commenced operations as an automobile and mechanical engineering firm in 1992 however, a vacuum was identified in the installation of Medical Systems. As a result, DWAI embarked on accepting sub-contracts in installation of Piped Medical Gas Systems. These sub contracts gave DWAI an opportunity to change its specialization from Automobile and Mechanical engineering to installation of Medical Systems.
At present, DWAI is engaged in the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of medical systems and is specialized in piped medical gas systems, modular operating theatre systems, industrial incinerator systems and LP gas systems. The firm is one of the first the first organizations to follow British standards in Installation.
In the year 2001 DWAI was selected as one of the three pre-qualified companies authorized to supply, install, maintain, and service piped medical gas systems in Sri Lanka by the Ministry of Health Nutrition and Welfare, Sri Lanka.
DWAI is undertaking supervision and consultancy services for medical systems globally, including testing and commissioning of Piped Medical Gas systems.
DWAI quality and standards are secured by ISO 9001:2015 certifications.
